Change to 6th Grade Orientation

The time and format for the 6th grade orientation has been updated. The 6th grade orientation will now be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. It will be a floating orientation. Students and parents will find out their homeroom teacher which will be displayed in the main lobby. Students will receive their schedule and other important documents from the homeroom teacher. Again, this will now be a floating orientation. Students and parents will be able to come anytime during the 6:00pm to 8:00pm window. 

Change in Sports Events Gate Admission

Gate admission for sports events has increased to $5.00 for the 2016-2017 school year.

NJMS Fall Sports Tryout Information

All 6th grade students are invited to tryout for every sport this year with the exception of Football.  Every athlete must have an up-to-date physical and a completed concussion form.  

Tryouts for fall sports are as follows:

Football: Begins Monday, August 22nd.  All athletes will meet in the health room by the gym at 5:30PM until 8:00PM.

Cheer: Begins Monday, August 22nd. All athletes will meet in the gym at 3:30PM-5:30PM.

Volleyball and Boys Soccer: Begins August 30th (2nd day of school). All students will stay after school and tryouts will end at 5:00.

2016-2017 Orientation Dates

8/23 - 7th & 8th grade orientation (4-7PM Floating)

8/25 - 6th grade orientation (6-8PM Floating)

Please bring $20 for the Technology Use Fee if you plan on taking advantage of this option.
