Restart Calendar Added

The approved Restart calendar for the 2017-2018 school year has been added to the Restart tab at the top of our home page.  We would like all parents and community members to have access this calendar. Please take notice that every Friday will be an early release day. Additionally, there are other workdays in the calendar that are in addition to the workdays on the JCPS Calendar. Spring Band and Chorus Concert Info

The Spring Band concert is set for Monday, May 8th at 6:30PM.  

The Spring Chorus concert is Tuesday, May 9th at 6:30PM.

Both concerts will be located in the NJMS Gymnasium. Students should wear band or chorus tshirts and jeans.

Sports Banquet Set for Thursday May 18th

The annual NJMS Sports Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, May 18th, with a catered meal beginning at 6:00PM in the cafeteria.

Tickets prices are as follows:
Adults: $10
Children 10 & Under: $6
Athletes and Managers: Free

The awards ceremony will begin around 7:00PM in the gym. You may attend the ceremony without eating, free of charge.

Please send money to school with your child if you plan to attend. We look forward to celebrating our sports teams' accomplishments this year!

Proctors Needed for End of Year Testing

North Johnston Middle School is seeking volunteers to serve as proctors during EOG testing. Please click the link below and complete the form if you will be able to volunteer on one or more of the following dates: 

Thursday, May 25th

Friday, May 26th

Wednesday, May 31st

Thursday, June 1st

We will need volunteers who are able to assist on these days to arrive at 7am and stay until noon (some may finish early). Lunch will be provided daily. In addition, all volunteers who proctor 3 or more days will be entered into a drawing for a flat screen TV.

You may also use a check or money order for the yearbook. Checks need to be made out to Herff Jones and brought to the school. Please include the following information with the order.

Place the information and the check or money order in an envelope and drop it off at the front desk at the school office.

Orders may be placed through April 7, 2017. After that date there is NO guarantee you will be able to purchase a yearbook.

Yankee Candle Fundraiser

Students received packets regarding our annual Yankee Candle Fundraiser on Monday, March 13th. Students who sell at least 10 items will be able to attend a DJ party! Other prizes will be awarded based on how many items students sell.

Sale ends Monday, March 27th and delivery of products will be in early May before Mothers Day! Thank you for supporting NJMS!
