After School Dance Friday 12/9

There will be an after school dance on Friday, December 9th.  Students should be picked up at 5:00PM.

Band and Chorus Concert to be held on 12/6

The NJMS Band and Chorus will host their winter concert on Tuesday, December 6th at 7PM. The event will take place in the gymnasium.

Basketball Tryout Information

Girls basketball tryouts will begin immediately after school. Potential players should report to Mr. Bone's room when bus riders are dismissed. Boys wanting to tryout will report to the cafeteria when bus riders are dismissed.

Any student trying out needs to have the following items in order to participate:

• Signed Concussion Form
• Updated physical (completed front and back)

Students must also have a 69.5 overall average from the first 9 weeks. Students cannot participate if they turned 15 before August 31, 2016.

Copies of the forms needed are available in the front office as well as the Parent Documents section of our website.

10 Minutes Added to School Day for Remainder of School Year

Starting Monday, October 24th, ten minutes will be added to each school day to make up the time missed due to Hurricane Matthew.  Car riders will now be dismissed at 2:37PM.

Athletic Events Rescheduled

The following games have been rescheduled that were originally supposed to be played while school was out during Hurricane Matthew.

• Volleyball & Soccer will play at home vs. Four Oaks on Tuesday, October 18th
• Football will play at Selma on Wednesday, October 19th

All other athletic events scheduled for this week will continue as normal. Please come out and support our Jaguar Athletic teams if you can!

NJMS Fall Band Concert

Jaguar band students will perform at their Fall concert on Tuesday, October 11th. The event will begin at 7PM and will take place in the NJMS Gymnasium.

Yankee Candle Fundraiser Begins October 10th

Students will receive information packets about the Yankee Candle sale at the fundraiser kickoff  that will take place on Monday 10/10.
